Who’s it for?
The Scandinavian Endurance Championship is for those who want to test their endurance and can maintain a maximum level over 6 hours of driving at night. There are 8 stints over 6 hours. After each stint, the driver’s weight is recorded and the team average must exceed 85 kg at race end. For every kg below 85 kg, one lap is deducted.*See the details in the rules document.8 stints. 8 karts. 0 errors.
The challenges are lining up:
- The race is run on a rotation system: each team must handle eight different karts over eight stints. Both kart and driver must be changed after each stint. Pitstop timing is controlled via digital screens and pagers on the steering wheel - and followed meticulously.
- When you are called in, the incoming driver activates a 60-second countdown at the pit entrance. The next driver is not allowed to leave the pits until the time is up. An official will take care of the transponder and license plate relocation.
- The race is run at night from 0:00 - 6:00.
- Each driver must do at least 1 stint and a maximum of 5 stints.
