Race program
The first time you participate in go-kart training, you must register. You can do this at the facility or from home using the Racehall app.
When you arrive, you’ll be provided with the necessary equipment: a helmet, a helmet liner, and gloves (and a riding suit if it’s cold). Remember to wear closed-toe shoes and tie back any long hair so you’re ready to get out on the track safely.
You’ll greet your coach and take part in a briefing where the day’s program is reviewed. This is followed by 30 minutes of effective driving time, during which the focus is entirely on your development. Along the way, your coach takes notes on both lap times and technique and gives you specific feedback. This may focus on determining your ideal line, optimizing your braking points, or tailoring your training for upcoming championships.
Example of a race layout
- 6 laps warm-up
- 6 qualifying laps followed by a tire change
- Heat A, with starting positions based on qualifying, followed by a kart change
- Heat B with a reversed starting order for the top 8 from Heat A
- “Walk the Line” session focused on hitting the ideal line
Each month of training concludes with a racing finale, where you’ll have the opportunity to turn your progress into results on the track.

FAQ
Is go-karting a real sport?
Yes, go-karting is a real sport. It’s a recognized motorsport with official races, classes, and rules—and it’s about more than just speed. Go-karting requires technique, physical endurance, and mental sharpness, because you constantly have to make quick decisions under pressure. Many professional race car drivers have even started their careers in go-karting, precisely because the sport develops the fundamental skills needed for racing and competition.
Is go-karting hard?
Yes, go-karting can be pretty intense. When you’re behind the wheel, you actively use your arms, shoulders, neck, and core to navigate the turns, all while your heart rate rises and you need to stay completely focused. You can burn up to 358 calories in 30 minutes, which is equivalent to a moderate workout session.
Is it hard to drive a go-kart?
No, go-karting isn’t hard, but it takes practice to get really good at it. Most people can quickly learn the basics of steering, braking, and accelerating, but techniques like finding the ideal line through the turns and maintaining speed require practice and experience. The more you drive, the better you’ll get.
Are men and women separated into different teams?
No, racers are divided by age and skill level.
Are there changing rooms and showers?
Yes, we have locker rooms with showers. They are separated by gender. There are lockers, hair dryers, and mirrors.
